CM10-HI (U.FL) is an industrial grade high power 600mW(28dBm) IEEE802.11a/b/g 108Mbps wifi mini-PCI module with two U.FL RF connectors designed specifically for integration in high temperature durability and high performance-critical applications. Industrial grade components and high power design, CM10-HI (U.FL) is ideal for embedding into new or existing industrial grade devices such as rugged notebooks, rugged outdoor point to point or building to building wireless Access Point/Bridge connections, and rugged application-specific devices (ASDs) used in vertical market.

Optional WinCE 4.2/5.0 drivers enable ASD manufacturers to provide products that enjoy improved innovation and time to market through trouble-free WiFi integration.

Why AR5414A B2B required for Industrial Applications?

Industrial grade AR5414A B2B chipset is for applications in the most-demanding environments in the world. It must withstand tremendous temperature, humidity, and ambient air ranges. By contrast, the commercial grade AR5414A is for applications generally placed in a climate-controlled environment that is carefully monitored to ensure optimum performance.

1. In normal temperature range 0 –60°C: the power control accuracy of wifi modules using either AR5414A B2B or AR5414A chipset can be the same precise for a professional company as Unex.

2. At temperature of –15°C, -40°C or +80°C, obvious power control accuracy differences can be found on the test result of AR5415A B2B and AR5414A.

Antenna two U.FL antenna connectors for diversity function

Remark: please make sure to install two antenna on these two antenna ports. For single antenna application, either 1). select "antenna diversity off" mode in AP code or NDIS driver or 2). one 50 Ohm terminator installation on the other antenna port is required. This is a high-power module, PA will be damaged and cause DC-shorted if leave antenna port open during transmission.
