RNRA-N1 PCBA: 802.11n b/g 1x1 AP/Router board, AP91/AR7240+AR9285
RNRA-N1 PCBA is an 802.11n b/g 1x1 AP/Router which leverages the 802.11n 1–stream specification to provide the optimal upgrade path from legacy 802.11 solutions. The single-stream feature enables a new class of WiFi devices that deliver up two to three times performance enhancements over the existing 802.11g technology at comparable price point. The enhanced throughput of RNRA-N1 PCBA 1–stream solution improves network efficiency by occupying the wireless channel for shorter periods than slower 802.11g devices – reducing congestion, increasing capacity for additional wireless devices, and effectively doubling the wireless coverage over legacy 802.11g.
Tooling, GUI and firmware custom service enable ODM customers to quickly and easily bring competitive price/performance wifi solutions to market and ensure the best end user experience possible.

- AP/Router board with Rx antenna diversity design effectively doubling the wireless coverage over legacy 802.11g.
- Hardware switching selector of access point and router mode to easily select required mode without web GUI access.
- WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) hardware press button automatically configure a wifi network with a SSID as well as data encryption and authentication without troublesome web configuration.
- BSP sub-license available by project.
- Enables bandwidth up to 150Mbps link rate, two to three times the throughput of 802.11g.
- Supports IEEE 802.11b/802.11g backward compatibility allowing inter-operability among multiple wifi networks.
- Supports WEP 64/128/152 encryption and WPA/WPA-PSK/WPA2/WPA2-PSK security.
- Three 10/100Mbps Ethernet port supports auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDI-X and 802.3x flow control.
- RoHS compliance meets environment-friendly requirement.
